From his Birmingham, Ala. studio, Evan Lockridge reports on topics such as important legislation, new trucking products and services, economic forecasts, industry trends, trucking culture and all other kind of news that affects expedited truck drivers. During his 15 years covering the trucking business, Lockridge has earned three Jesse H. Neal awards for journalism as well as the prestigious Grand Neal prize from the American Business Media. He has also received honors from the American Society of Business Publication Editors and Alabama Media Professionals.

As a freelance journalist, Lockridge also serves as a contributing editor for RoadStar and Heavy Duty Trucking magazines. He is a special correspondent for Landline magazine, published by the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association, and a contributor to their radio show Landline Now. Previously Lockridge was host and producer of RoadStar Radio News, and before that served in a similar capacity for Overdrive Trucking News.
